One fee covers lunch, books, trips and most clubs. Around one child in nine holds
a means-tested bursary; the registrar will tell you where the line falls before
you apply.

Questions parents ask
Three a year, in October, February and May. If none of those dates work, the registrar will show you round on an ordinary school day, which is the better visit anyway.
Sixteen is the cap and fourteen is the average. Counting teaching assistants and specialists, there is one adult to every eight children across the school.
Lunch, books, stationery, day trips and most after-school clubs. There is no registration fee. Residentials, instrumental lessons and school uniform are charged separately.
Yes. About one child in nine holds a means-tested bursary worth between ten and one hundred per cent of the fee. Applications open in the October before entry.
